WINTER VITAMIN BOOSTING JUICE
This Winter Vitamin Boosting Juice will help you stay healthy throughout cold season! It’s homemade, rich in Vitamin C & ready in 5 minutes!
This week the weather here in Spain is pretty cold which means more chances for viruses to spread around! I don’t know about you but I am not willing to give the viruses any chance to take over my body! So I have made this vitamin packed juice for us to fight off all those viruses!
Immune booster juice like this carrot, apple, celery and parsley juice is what your body needs to stay healthy.
Now we like juicing because we can control what we put in our juice, we know there are no preservatives and we can drink it fresh! I have to admit I was not very keen on juicing in the beginning. My problem was the whole cleaning part and the time needed to prepare and juice the fruits and vegetables. I thought it was like a too lengthy a process not worth the while. But I was so wrong! I timed myself once and it took me an hour from the very start to the very end (which included cleaning the juicer). In one hour I rinsed, peeled, cut, juiced the fruits and veggies and managed to clean and wash everything. We got enough juice for 3 days for the both of us!
So you see, I juiced a huge amount of fruits and veggies there, but if you want to enjoy a glass of this homemade juice recipe you will be done in 5 minutes. Now this does not include the cleaning of your juicer.
Ok, let’s talk more about this easy juicing recipe.
THE MIRACLE DRINK WITH AMAZING HEALTH BENEFITS
WE NEED TO TALK.
We have a big problem. (The “we” here being those of us in the developed world, for the most part.)
So many of us live in a constant state of searching for health. We feel overwhelmingly tired and achy. We have brain fog and blotchy skin. We have weight issues. We shell out big cash for supplements and shakes and gyms. All to little (or no) benefit.
We feel so crappy (for lack of a better word) that it’s almost impossible for us to believe that relief could be easy.
Don’t hold the sensational title of this post against me… But let’s talk about water.
WHY ARE WE IGNORING WATER?
This is speculation here, but I think we overlook water for a number of reasons:
We THINK we are getting enough – but we don’t really know what enough is. (That’s probably our biggest mistake. None of us are ignoring our health on purpose, right?)
We underestimate the benefits of drinking water because we’ve never taken the time to really learn what water means to our bodies.
It’s so readily available to us that we don’t consider it a miracle drink.
We don’t like water… because we have programmed our bodies to like tea, coffee, pop, juice and everything BUT water.
We are a little lazy, we think it’s hard, and we don’t want to bother drinking it.
ARE YOU GETTING ENOUGH WATER?
If you automatically assume you’re drinking enough water, without being intentional about how much you drink, then you probably aren’t.
Counting coffee (or tea or juice) as a good water replacement, because it’s made with water, is also a huge mistake! Yes, our bodies will extract the water from those things – if you were stranded on a dessert island, those things would keep you alive.
But your goal shouldn’t be “stay alive” while surrounded by accessible water. Your goal should be “feel great”. The extra burden we put on or bodies, of processing coffee, tea, juice and especially pop, takes away from some of the amazing benefits you could be seeing if you drank plain water instead.
If you feel great all the time, have lots of energy, are rarely thirsty, and pee often – very light colored or clear pee – then you might actually be getting enough water.
If you are tired, have headaches, digestive issues, muscle aches and pains, trouble sleeping, or Read more

Below are some effective homemade remedies drinks to lose weight fast that you can try:
1. Green Tea Solution
Green tea‘s popularity is currently growing at a very high rate than before; my guess is that this is triggered by the ingredient’s potential for weight loss. Several clinical studies have shown that caffeine and flavonoids found in this substance can help boost metabolic rate, insulin activity, and fat oxidation. One research discovered that those who took the solution lost around 2.9 pounds after a 3-month period.
Another study showed that the result in fat output was equivalent to 100 calories over a 1-day duration. How to drink it for the best effects According to certified dietician Isabel K. Smith, when brewing green tea it’s best to take care that you don’t over-boil the drink since this may destroy catechin compounds found in the solution.
A pot of water
Chosen tea leaves or powder*
Bring the pot of water to a steady boil, then let it rest for about 10 minutes.
Pour the water over the tea leaves for 1 minute before serving.
Nonetheless, brew time can be shortened or lengthened depending on your personal preferences.
When Should You Drink It?
You don’t need to take too much of the drink to shed weight. While calorie-cut benefits may vary depending on individual body dynamics, they’ve been witnessed by taking as little as two and a half cups of green tea solution per day.
The active ingredient responsible for calorie loss is a polyphenol substance called EGCG, it’s found in all strains of green tea. Moreover, research by the University of Maryland Medical Department concluded that it contains higher amounts of polyphenols than other conventional tea types.
Furthermore, in a study published by the International Society of Sports Nutrition journal, it was found that taking decaffeinated green tea combined with regular exercise can increase fat burning by up to 25 percent, and decrease body fat ratio by 1.6 percent.
While there are many varieties of green tea available today, they share a common characteristic that they all come from Camellia sinensis plant. I also know that they are made from unfermented leaves.
I strongly agree with Isabel K Smith that Matcha is the best green tea brand for weight-loss, compared to other products it’s the richest source of green tea antioxidants and nutrients. To prepare it, the whole-leaf is grounded then taken as part ….Read more
